Seattle/Vancouver
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves (which are all out of order), but it was a great trip. Vancouver was way more crowded and "big city"ish than I was expecting and thus a little let down. The only promising record store I could find was overpriced and thought Relapse Records was as underground as it got.
I hadn't seen my brother or sister in 2 years, so it was great to finally see them. As well, I got to meet my brother's girlfriend, whom he has been living with.
We went to see my his grad film (he was an animation major) and have a big fancy family dinner.
We drove back down to Seattle early in the day so we could take in the city.
Seattle was fantastic. The weather was perfect. Found a good record store, but couldn't find anything I wanted. Walked down to the waterfront and took in Pacific waters for the first time in my life. We got a really nice hotel room and spent probably the most I'll ever spend on room service.
We've wanted to leave Denver for awhile. I always thought that if it was 100% up to me, I'd want to move back to the east coast (because that's where I grew up and I love New England). Seeing Seattle changed that.

shows
This will be a good summer for live music:
July 22 - At The Gates
July 25 - Boris / Torche
August 2 - Alkaline Trio
August 22 - NOFX
I never go to shows anymore, but I'll be bummed if I don't go to those.
